Dress Attire:Very Important - All Dancers are required to bring a water bottle. The water at the studio is provided from a water well which includes reclaimed water. As a result it does not meet the sanitation requirements for drinkability. All dancers will be required to bring a water bottle with their name on it. The water is safe for all other TurnOut purposes! Tuition:Tuition is due the first day of each month. TurnOut Movement Arts Studio does not send out a monthly bill. There is a $15.00 late charge on all payments after the 10th of each month. To assure that the proper account receives credit, please mark the dancer's name in the memo section on the bottom left corner of the check. There is a $30.00 fee for all returned checks, no exceptions. Our tuition structure is based on 37 weeks of instruction, payable in ten equal payments—one payment due each month September-June. When you enroll a dancer at TurnOut, you are enrolling for the entire season or 37 weeks, September 2010 through June of 2011 (10 Months). Early departure is not grounds for ceasing payment. Exceptions involving extreme situations can be directed to the owner. 10% off for accounts paid in full between September 9th – 25th. Monthly Payment Options:

When an adult is in class, their child(ren) age 12 and under are NOT allowed to wait in the waiting room. Parents will be invited to view during the last 10 minutes of class December 6th -11th, and again in the spring. Practice CD's for each routine are $1.00 and may be purchased from Miss Annie at the front desk. Costume Deposit:There is a $65.00 non-refundable costume deposit, October 15th for each class subject the dancer is enrolled in with the exception of Hip Hop, Technique and Tumbling unless otherwise indicated by the instructor. Parents are responsible for Hip Hop costumes—a description will be given out by the instructor in spring. Costume balances are due April 15th. Recital fee:There will be no recital fee for this year's production. Each dancer will be able to sell tickets to replace the recital fee that has been paid in years past. Communication:All communications including weekly updates, rehearsal changes, recital information, holiday breaks, tee shirt/TurnOut gear orders, studio pictures, etc is ALWAYS available via a range of locations or medias. Communications will ALWAYS be emailed, posted at the studio and if approved, posted on the webpage. We make every attempt to promote positive consistent communication. It is your responsibility to be aware of all information pertinent to your dancer. Take the time to read through the board each time you pick/up or drop off. In addition, ask your dancer about any announced changes! Failing to keep updated may mean you will miss out on the incredible things we are doing! Recital:Performing on stage before an audience is a significant step in building a young person's self-esteem. The time and effort spent perfecting a dance for performance teaches valuable lesson in discipline, teamwork, and working toward a long-term goal. At the end of every Spring/Beginning of Summer, the culmination of the year's work, the recital is presented. We at TurnOut Movement Arts Studio celebrate each child's individual and team accomplishments. From the practice, to the costume, to the applause of the crowd, it is our goal to make this a moment that will forever be remembered. Competition Team:Through an emphasis on proper technique and the joy of dance TurnOut Movement Arts Studio instills positive self-esteem and the winning aspects of a successful attitude in students that wish to further their dance options through competitive performance. Each Spring competition tryouts are held at the studio. Students wishing to participate should contact Miss Tracey to express interest.
